How to Request a Legal Name or Date of Birth Update

Due to identity verification and compliance requirements, your Full Name and Date of Birth cannot be edited directly through the Student Portal.

If your legal name has changed or your date of birth needs to be corrected in official records, you can request an update by submitting a Request with the required documentation.

Required Supporting Documentation

To process your request, you must attach valid, official documentation to verify your identity. Please prepare the following:

1. Official Change of Name Document
   Examples: Official Change of Name Certificate, Marriage Certificate, or updated Birth Certificate issued by a relevant Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.
2. Updated Official Photo ID
   Examples: Valid Driver’s License, Passport, or State Proof of Age Card reflecting your correct/updated details.
3. Confirmation of Government Record Updates
   Written confirmation or evidence showing that your official details have been updated across relevant external government platforms, such as your registered Unique Student Identifier (USI) and Tax File Number (TFN) details.
