Is Orientation Day Compulsory?

Yes. Orientation Day is compulsory for all new Ikon Institute of Australia students.

This session prepares you for your studies before classes begin. You will be introduced to your course structure, academic expectations, key support services, and how to access essential systems such as Canvas and the Learner App.

Orientation is usually scheduled on a single day for each intake. Attendance is expected, and alternative sessions are not routinely available. If you are unable to attend your scheduled Orientation, you must contact the Student Experience Team as soon as possible by submitting a Request to discuss your circumstances.

For international students, Orientation is particularly important, as it includes information about your responsibilities under your student visa.
