Similarity Score (Turnitin) is a powerful tool that quantifies how similar a student's work is to other pieces of writing by highlighting similarities to the world's largest collection of internet, academic, and student paper content.
STEP 1
Go to “Courses” and choose your subject. For example, EPRO101.
STEP 2
Click on "Marks" which is visible on the left-hand side.
STEP 3
Click on the "green/yellow/red bookmark icon" which is visible on the far right of the assessment task you wish to check on. This will then lead you to the Overall Similarity Score (Turnitin) section.
STEP 4
You will see your Overall Similarity score on the top right corner of the page. The document you submitted is displayed on the left. The sources you used for your assessment is displayed below the similarity score.
Some sentences/paragraphs of your assessment paper will be highlighted in different colours when you click on "Top sources/All Sources" located on the top right corner of the page.
These highlighted sentences will enable your lecturer to view the source of the statement.
STEP 5
Click on "Submission Details" displayed on the top right corner of your Similarity Score (Turnitin) page to see your paper ID, File name, date of submission, file size, word count, number of pages and etc.
