What Should I Do if I'm Having Trouble Submitting My Assessment?

If you are unable to upload your assessment in Canvas due to a technical issue, you must notify the relevant school by 12:00 pm on the next business day after the due date.

Step 1: Email the Correct School

Send an email to the appropriate address:

• School of Education: [e-mail]
• School of Human Services: [e-mail]

Email subject line: Assessment Submission Issue

Step 2: Include All Required Details

Your email must include all of the following information:

• Your full name
• Student number
• Subject code and subject name
• Assessment number
• A detailed explanation of the technical issue
• Supporting evidence (for example, screenshots or system error messages)

Requests that are missing information or evidence may be delayed or declined.

What Happens Next

The Head of School (or delegate) will review your request and provide a decision within 5 business days.

Important notes

• Always allow extra upload time, especially for large files.
• Keep a backup copy of your work and confirm submission through Canvas.
• You remain responsible for submitting by the due date.
