A student representative is a dedicated individual elected or appointed by their peers to act as a liaison between the student body and the institution's administration. Their role is to advocate for students' interests, ensure that their voices are heard, and contribute to improving the overall student experience at Ikon.

  • Advocate for students: Represent your voice to ensure a high-quality learning experience at Ikon.
  • Be accessible: Remain available to address your concerns and provide support.
  • Foster engagement: Actively connect with students both in class and on campus to enhance your overall learning experience.
  • Set a positive example: Demonstrate excellence in both academic and non-academic areas.
  • Provide guidance: Be knowledgeable about Ikon’s policies to offer accurate advice and refer you to appropriate student support services.
  • Propose improvements: Suggest and develop ideas for enhancing the student experience.
  • Conduct research: Gather student feedback through surveys, focus groups, and drop-in sessions to inform decision-making.
  • Assist with implementation: Support Ikon staff in executing plans and initiatives.
