How do I Join the Waitlist for My Preferred Class?

When a class reaches its maximum capacity, you can add yourself to the waitlist. If a place becomes available — for example, if another student changes classes or withdraws — the next eligible student on the waitlist may be allocated the available place.

Reminders:

• If classes have already commenced, you must continue attending your currently allocated class while you remain on the waitlist. 
• Joining the waitlist does not guarantee a place in your preferred class. 
• If a place does not become available, you will remain enrolled in and be expected to attend your currently allocated class.

IMPORTANT – CHECK YOUR TIMETABLE FOR UPDATES

While you are on the waitlist, continue to check your timetable regularly for updates. If a place becomes available and you are allocated to your preferred class, your timetable will be updated automatically. Make sure you check your timetable regularly so you don’t miss any changes to your class allocation.

How to Join the Waitlist

Missed out on your preferred class? No worries! If the class is full but has a waitlist available, you can easily join in.

Follow these steps:

1. In the Timetable Hub, click on the "Change your timetable" link under Change your Timetable section.

   

2. Find the class you would like to join.
3. If the class is full and a waitlist is available, you’ll see Waitlist button.
4. Click Waitlist to join. 

5. Once you’ve joined, the button will change to In waitlist, confirming that you’re on the list.

   

Want to Leave the Waitlist?

Changed your mind? No problem!

1. Click the In waitlist button.

2. When the confirmation message appears, select Leave waitlist.

   

3. And that’s it! You’re off the waitlist.
