An assessment task is considered late if it is submitted after the set due date and time (or extension date).
Late submissions will incur a penalty of 10% per day of the total possible marks for the assessment task, for up to 10 days after the due date (including weekends and public holidays).
No marks will be awarded for work that is submitted:
- More than 10 days after the due date, or
- After the assessment has been returned to the student, whichever comes first.
In such cases, a mark of zero and a result of "Fail" for the task will be applied.
Note: All assessments must still be completed and submitted to meet the requirements of the assessment policy, even if no mark will be awarded.
