What are examples of academic misconduct?

Academic misconduct includes:

  • Plagiarism: Not properly crediting the sources you use.
  • Collusion: Working with others to complete assessments when it’s not allowed.
  • Exam Cheating: Bringing in unauthorised materials or copying from others during exams.
  • Contract Cheating: Buying or copying someone else’s work and submitting it as your own.
  • Fabricating Data: Making up information or sources in your assessments.
  • Recycling Work: Submitting the same work more than once without permission.

These actions are unacceptable and can lead to serious consequences.
