Student Systems Access Guide - Student Portal, Student Email & Microsoft 365

Student Experience Team Student Experience Team

All Ikon Institute of Australia students are provided with access to a Student Portal, a student email address, and Microsoft 365 as part of their enrolment.

You have access to the following systems as part of your enrolment.

Student Portal

Your main entry point for student services and support.

Use the Student Portal to:

  • Access linked student systems
  • View enrolment details and academic results
  • Find support articles in the Knowledge Base
  • Submit and track enquiries with the Student Experience team

Student Email

You are issued a student email address (StudentIDNumber@student.ikon.edu.au) which:

  • Is your official communication channel with the Institute
  • Acts as your login username for multiple systems
  • Provides access to Microsoft 365

Your exact email address is included in your welcome email.

Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 includes access to:

  • Outlook (email)
  • Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • OneDrive

You sign in using your student email address and password.

Other Student Systems You Can Access

You will also have access to:

  • Library resources
  • Canvas 
  • Learner App for timetables
  • The Knowledge Base for student support information
  • Your enrolment information and academic results

How Login Access Works

Some student systems are accessed automatically through the Student Portal.

The Learner App is accessed separately using your existing login ID and password.

All other student systems accessed outside the Student Portal require you to log in using your student email address and password.

Logging In for the First Time

  1. Go to student.edu.com.au
  2. Log in using your student email address (StudentIDNumber@student.ikon.edu.au)
  3. Enter the temporary password provided in your welcome email
  4. Create a new password when prompted

Use your new password for future logins across supported systems.

Getting Help & Submitting Enquiries

You can contact the Student Experience team through the Student Portal. To submit an enquiry:

  1. Select My Enquiries (top-right of the portal)
  2. Submit your question
  3. Track updates and responses in one place
